For more than two decades we’ve been watching the same scene: buildings full of sensors, teams gluing spreadsheets late into the night, decisions made in the dark because the right data always lives in the wrong system. blipee was started to put a stop to that. An operations + AI platform, EU-hosted, built in Lisbon by someone who spent 24 years inside the problem.

First release of the platform — near-real-time data pipeline plus automatic CSRD reporting. The first Portuguese buildings come online.

We ship blipee OS — the operational layer that ties Buildings, Energy and Reporting into one Hub. Multi-module, multi-country.

Sofia AI
Sofia AI goes into production — a conversational assistant with six specialist personas. Cites sources in every answer. Not an autonomous agent: a decision tool.

Multi-vertical
Retail Intelligence joins the ecosystem. Buildings, Retail and Sustainability start sharing the same Sofia and the same data layer.

I started over two decades ago wiring technology into buildings. One thing becomes clear after enough projects on the ground: the tech is the easy part. The hard part is picking the right problem to solve and listening properly to the people living it every day. Buildings are still full of technology nobody uses to solve what actually matters. blipee came out of that frustration — and out of the stubborn belief that the gap could be closed. Every conversation with a customer or a partner sharpens the next feature. Every problem we solve solves more than one. That’s why I’m here.
